At 150 years old arguably Canada continues to be shaped and identified by its great
expanse of land. Each generation of Canadian artists attempt to construct meaning from its
vastness, its power, and its people.
Simcoe Cultural Collective (SCC) will examine, question, and explore the Canadian
landscape at 150 federated years old. SCC hopes to question the use of artistic media and how it blurs the line between image and reality.
